  • As competition heightens in the banking sector, First National Bank Botswana (FNBB) continues to warm up for the contest to offer improved service delivery to customers.

Last month the bank unveiled its new look branch in Francistown as part of FNBB’s plan to expand and increase its footprint.

According to the bank’s communiqué released to mark opening of the branch positioned along Blue Jacket Street, customers will be impressed by the new look branch which is expected to offer a more friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

“The branch supports FNBB’s service strategy of bringing value-added services to customers at a location convenient for business. For most customers a long queue is the biggest challenge they face when they visit a branch,” said the statement from the bank.

The bank is optimistic the new branch with service related zone will help ease the congestion in the banking hall.

“Branches remain important in our customer interaction and we see that branches will continue to make profound impact on existing and potential customers.”

The move to renovate the Blue Jacket Street has been promoted by an increase in customer base at the old branch building over the years.

“It was important to create a much more spacious building so as to offer a more friendly and relaxed environment.”

The branch, a three storey building boasts the bank’s one-stop-shop capability accommodating all the products such as electronic banking, private banking, property finance division, Wesbank among others.
