In an effort to continue to strengthen bond between government and the booming tourism industry, an annual Tourism Pitso event is set to be held in Gaborone next month.
This year’s conference will be held under the banner ‘To protect the environment; Conserve the country’s renewable and natural resources; derive value out of environment for the benefit of Botswana.’
Principal public relations in the Ministry of Environment Wildlife and Tourism, Archibald Ngakayagae stated that major players in the tourism industry are expected to grace the event.
“Pitso gathers all stakeholders in the Tourism Industry and all issues pertaining to the industry are to be addressed,” said Ngakayagae in a statement.
MWET minister Onkokame Kitso Mokaila is expected to carry out the official opening ceremony.
